Refund Policy

This page explains how subscription billing and refunds work on OctoChurn. By subscribing to a paid plan you accept the terms below.
Beta period
While OctoChurn is in beta, the service is free and nothing on this page applies to you yet. It takes effect the day you subscribe to a paid plan.
Subscriptions auto-renew
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, depending on the plan you selected) until you cancel. The renewal charge goes to the payment method on file.
How to cancel
You can cancel any subscription at any time from Billing in the app. Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep access to your paid plan until the end of the current billing period, and your subscription status updates immediately in the app.
Refunds
Refunds for the current billing period are not provided. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep access until the period ends and no partial refund is issued. Annual subscribers who cancel do not receive a refund for the remaining months.
Exceptions: if you were charged in error (duplicate charges, charges after a confirmed cancellation, or fraudulent activity), email admin@octochurn.com within 30 days and we will issue a full refund of the incorrect charge.
Plan changes
Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated: you are charged the price difference for the remainder of the current period.
Downgrades and switches from annual to monthly take effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep your current plan until then, and no refund is issued for the change.
Switching from monthly to annual within the same tier charges the full annual price immediately, credits the unused portion of the monthly period, and resets your renewal date.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, your subscription enters a past-due state and we retry the charge over several days. If payment cannot be collected, the subscription is canceled and access to paid features is removed. (Yes, we use our own dunning.)
